I am enjoying Recall and would like to integrate it more deeply into my daily workflow. I am submitting this request because I am encountering consistent friction when working with nested content, particularly across desktop and mobile. When working inside a note, I can create a Toggle using the slash command. Once the Toggle is created, I am unable to insert a nested bullet list inside it using the same slash-based dropdown menu. Entering “/” within the Toggle does not present the Bullet List option. Instead, I must rely on a keyboard shortcut (Option + 8) to manually create a bullet, which is not practical on mobile. This workaround introduces additional issues. After manually creating a bullet, pressing Enter does not generate the next bullet as expected. Instead, the cursor moves lower within the Toggle, breaking the flow of writing and making structured note-taking difficult. Expected behavior: • Slash commands should remain available inside Toggles, including Bullet List • Pressing Enter within a bullet should create the next bullet • Tab should indent bullets to create predictable nesting • Nested content should remain visually compact when not actively needed For reference, other tools implement "Folding" (Collapsing) bullets. Nested bullets can be "folded" or collapsed under their parent bullet. This keeps your workspace clean by hiding detailed sub-points until they are needed. This approach keeps notes clean while preserving detail and enables faster, more consistent outlining. I found a prior feature request from February 20, 2024, requesting similar functionality, which suggests this is a shared usability concern. Addressing my concern would reduce friction during note creation, improve mobile usability, and make hierarchical organization easier to maintain over time. I appreciate your time and dedication. JC
