Feature Request: Add a comprehensive report generation feature to Recall that creates structured, long-form documents from filtered knowledge base subsets. The current AI chat functionality limits output to approximately 7000 characters including references, yielding only 500 words of actual content, which is insufficient for professional use cases. The requested feature should enable users to generate markdown-formatted reports of configurable length specified by page count or word target, similar to NotebookLM's report function. Users should be able to filter source material through tags or prompts, with the system proposing document structure and synthesizing information across multiple stored resources. The generated reports should serve as fact-based foundations for slide decks, customer presentations, or essays, maintaining proper source citations while delivering substantially more content than current chat outputs. Implementation should appear as a dedicated option in the sidebar alongside existing Chat, Graph, Review, and Settings functions, providing direct access to this document generation capability without relying on chat interface limitations.

Please! It would be wonderful if we just had a place where we could jot a note down that would let us share our thoughts on a particular save… Why we saved it… What we want to use it for later… personal thoughts… An alternate title that’s more informative… Right now, we have to use the chat feature or try to get a cursor in before the summary that’s generated. Thank you so much for giving us the chance to just have our own little place to jot down notes upfront. This is a great app! I’m very thankful for all your hard work!

Enable users to organize their Recall experience into separate work and personal spaces, with the ability to create collaborative shared workspaces for teams and groups. The Problem Currently, all Recall cards exist in one space, making it difficult to: Keep work and personal information separate Share relevant cards with teammates or collaborators Collaborate on shared knowledge without cluttering individual spaces Proposed Solution Phase 1: Personal Workspace Separation Work Space: Professional cards, meeting notes, project information Personal Space: Personal interests, recipes, travel plans, etc. Easy switching between spaces with visual indicators Phase 2: Collaborative Shared Workspaces Shared card collections: Create workspaces that multiple people can access Real-time collaboration: Team members can view, edit, and add cards together Flexible permissions: Control who can view, edit, or manage each workspace We'd love your input on: How would you want to switch between workspaces? What permissions would be most important to you? How do you envision discovering and joining shared workspaces? What other collaboration features would enhance this?

A feature that surfaces older notes and cards. Option to view all the least opened items (or filter by tag and type). Helps me find forgotten information.

We currently possess a note-taking feature that is similar to Notion; however, there is potential to enhance our offerings by providing customizable pages and templates akin to those available on Notion. I have developed several templates, and should we integrate a similar functionality with Recall, it would significantly alter our current approach to the platform. The incorporation of advanced tagging alongside the ability to create charts and establish connections would indeed represent a transformative advancement.

I am really impressed by the capturing of lazy.so withing different apps like slack, emails, coding etc. It would be great to have that in recall. Slack at the very least please

We are looking to have a better reader-mode to support the usecase of Recall as a read-it-later app. Please pop your must have Reader Mode requests here.

Ensure that all the content in your knowledge base is up to date and aligns with the source content. When the source content updates, the content in your recall card should also automatically update!
