Lots to improve here - improve the UI and search-ability of content in Recall

Drag and drop PDFs, documents or images into the Recall UI and Recall automatically creates a new card.

Currently there is no way to associate a section of your notes on a PDF to its location in the document. Would be quite useful if one could link a part of their notes to its place on the original text for reviewing later if more context is necessary. Similar to how heptabase deals with cards created from a PDF highlight.

Create a separate section to capture all incoming saves, allowing me to then process the saves individually. Use Case: I generally receive article and video recommendations from my network, that i want to save and come back to later when i have free time. currently the Cards go directly to the 'all' bucket.

Recall is great for capturing data from the web. But I would also like to capture data from local documents, like pdf's or a Word document. Being able to select text in a PDF locally and with a right click on keyboard shortcut being able to add this to Recall woudl make Recall the Standard Data capture app. Lazy.so is currently able to do this, but their implementation is not so good. If you look at Grammarly, they have an app that works both online as well as local. Whether I have text in Pages or in a Markdown editor locally, or in google docs, Grammarly can help me. Can Recall make something similar, and be the Universal Data Capture Engine for our Knowledge Base?

The sources should probably go inside the metadata instead of at the bottom. In any case, thanks a lot for now including the source in the exported data!

There are many topics or phrases that I want to research or find a good source about. Sometimes I come accross them during my reading or learning in recall. But I don't want to leave my focus to find a good source right away. Of course I could track these "concepts to research" externally, but it would be nice to have a way to track then inside recall.

When a term is highlighted and then added to a card (using the lightning bolt), the card should include all mentions of that document. For some reason, it now doesn't.

For example: Motivation and motivational state. I want these to appear on the same card, but I can't. It would be sufficient to let the user search existing cards when pressing the ⚡ button

I listen interviews to hear what the interviewee has to say. But the summaries do not distinguish or make clear who says what. Muddling out the written summaries and hence the conclusion you make out of the video summary. Hence, I have to end up listening the conversation, rendering Recall not very useful, just a subtitles consolidation tool. Please help.
