I keep watching this app. The lack of OCR prevents me from actually using it becond a trial. But it is an incredible app for collating, revising and linking knowledge. Unfortunately, 95% of all my notes are handwritten on paper and digitised into PDF. I cannot upload any of them until it allows image based pdfs to be uploaded.

sometimes when de pdfs are scanned books or documents uploading them give a generic error not specifying why will be god to clarify why is not uploading and also provide tyhe capabilities to do OCR on those to make the experience smooth and easy for end users

Whenever I post images with text. It is unable to read the text . This feature is available in secondMe app. It will very useful if we get this feature in recall mobile app

Handle more kinds of PDFs-- such as scanned text

Not all my PDFs are handled. The first PDF I imported Recall said there was no context and apparently couldn't handle the multi-page scan. In order to use it seems I would need to convert the PDF to text then back to a PDF again or some other workaround where Recall will read the text. The scan is otherwise very clear.

Include key images, such as graphs, diagrams, etc. This would help immensely when looking at summaries of research papers or other sorts of documents that use images to communicate ideas that are complex to represent in text.

This is crucial. Would love to get an idea of whether or not it's being considered as I will probably be looking for another app if it's not. No threat there just letting you know how important it is to me.

I am constantly taking pictures of business cards or combinations to locks or menus at restaurants or things like that and not having the ability to have that information searchable via OCR is a must.

To facilitate the import of content not easily added via current means, enable content additions via photos and screenshots and extract text content from those images.

Or at least OCR it for search indexing, even if you don't expose the OCR content.
