The ability to select cards or tags to be downloaded in a similar way to specifying content on Apple Music, including an overview of what is available offline.

Feature suggestion: Offline-first access

Dear Recall AI Team,
first of all, I want to say that I really enjoy using Recall AI. It has become a central part of my personal knowledge management, and I use it daily to manage many aspects of my professional and personal work.
One limitation I frequently encounter, however, is that the app currently requires a stable internet connection to function. When the connection is weak or unavailable (for example while traveling, in hospitals, or in areas with poor reception), the app becomes largely unusable.
I would like to suggest an offline-first approach:
Cards (and their content) should always be available locally on the device
Users should be able to read, search, and edit cards offline
Once an internet connection is available again, the app could automatically sync changes with the online version in the background
This would significantly improve reliability, usability, and trust in the system, especially for users who rely on Recall AI as a core knowledge repository.
I believe this feature would add substantial value and make Recall AI even more powerful as a long-term personal knowledge management tool.
Thank you for building such a great product, and I hope this suggestion is helpful.

Please provide an Offline mode. I envision Recall Offline mode settings allowing a User to select how large offline or Cached data to download. For example on an iPad pro a user may only want to cache thirty (30) days of Recall cards. While a MacBook Pro User may want an entire year’s worth of Recall cards downloaded or Cached. If the iPad/ MacBook is offline and the user launches Recall, an alert 🔔 dialog is presented “Attention you are viewing Recall content in Offline/cached mode”, any edits to your notebook cards will be cached and then uploaded after your internet connection 🛜 is restored.”
If Recall is to dominate the research note taking field, offline access is a must.

It would be practical to have the content of the cards available offline.

Hello Marc
I've merged your request with another card 😊

Lack of offline mode is one of the main reasons I can't fully commit to the Recall. I'd be happy if we could ( if nothing else) at least mark some key notes to keep and work on offline. Though full offline mode is preferable 😉

I need to access my recall content offline. This would alleviate me having to export to Obsidian to view the offline.

That would be handy. Particularly when travelling and needing to make notes on content
