For those considering this approach, I've come up with an easy solution using free markdown-to-mindmap tools available online (e.g., https://markdown-map.com). If you want to create a mindmap to get an overall idea for a YouTube video, you can copy the markdown of the concise version to a tool like markdown-map and then export it to your detailed version in Recall.
