This might only work if both notes are in Markdown. But basically I am suggesting the ability to say something like please see Example 1 in the note ABC on note XYZ and clicking the link will go straight to the relevant section of the note.

Something similar to Synced blocks in notion.
The problem with most PKM tools is that knowledge tends to be spread out in many fragments. In the end you need to bring together some of the stuff in a structured way. If we could create a node and partially write new info but also copy linked blocks to it, you can make a report that suit a specific purpose or a course that brings together certain aspect of a topic without taking everything in.
Otherwise your PKM will end op like wikipedia, containing everything, and each time you need to search again because of information overload (but in your own knowledge base).
