Custom Number of Quiz Questions Generated
Sankari Nair
Gives users more control over the number of quiz questions generated.
Problem: Right now, there are either too many or too few questions being generated.
Solution: Give users the ability to select the # of questions to be generated and evolve the feature to then specify the type of topics to focus on.

Review section: limit question in each review

Hi Recall team,
For some doc, like the ebook I will generate 300-500 questions (in doc page).
It is hard to do them at once.
And if I use review in main page, even every session limit to 10 questions, you cannot really choose the unseen questions and prioritize what documents to review first. So you can imagine some ebook will generate a lot of questions and I have to complete them all before having the review on topic that I care about.
Are here ways to limit the question count up to let say 20 and prioritize the unseen questions and customize which doc to review (in doc page or main page)?

Hello! Yes, for sure - we need to work on this. The functionality does not exist right now.

When I generate questions about a book I'm reading, I get hundreds of questions, many are duplicates and some are about details of different stories (e.g. what medal the author has received in a competition) instead of focusing on questions about what you want to learn in the book. Would have been great if you could put an AI to read through the questions afterwards and clear out duplicates, nonsense and get the number down to a more manageable number, e.g. max 25. Even better if you can set the maximum limit yourself. 300 questions for just one card is unmanageable if you only want to repeat 10-20 cards a day and insert at least one new, but often several new cards every day.

When generating questions, Recall should check if the question has already been generated before

Got it - we may have overcorrected here with the # of questions.

Definitely encountering a lot of questions focused on supporting anecdotes instead of the main points of the book.
