Feature Requests

There are so many people here who could implement things for which the recall team currently has no free resources. In other words, if it would be very important to me to add a specific functionality to Recall, or to have a specific interface to other software, then I'll just write a plugin for it (or pay someone to do that). I'm aware that the effort on the part of Recall would be high, but I think it would be worth it. I can hardly imagine that no one has suggested this yet, maybe I just acted “stupid” while searching;).

We are looking to have a better reader-mode to support the usecase of Recall as a read-it-later app. Please pop your must have Reader Mode requests here.

I'd like it if the AI could generate summaries on a selected topic taking into account its surrounding elements in the knowledge graph.

Sometimes while browsing, one need to highlight only a part of the article and tag it instead of saving the complete article. This will help in more FOCUSED tagging and the ability to expand the tool as web annotator and online search tool. The current tagging system only allows tagging complete knowledge card and not highlights. hypothes.is is one such tool that allows this feature.

A pictue converys thousand words. While watching youtube video or visiting website, sometimes one need to take a screenshot and bring in to your knowledge base for later reference. It would be good to have a one click functionality of taking screenshot and bringing in to the knowledge card.

I review the summaries and highlight them, just like if they were notes or a textbook. However, the only way to do it currently is to highlight text, and then click on the highlighter button. It doesn't stay on. So you have to repeat...repeat...repeat... Simple Solution: Allow us to double-click or double-tap the highlight button (similar to how you can double-tap the CAPS button on your phone keyboard) so it stays on. That way we can turn the highlighter ON, and just quickly review the entire summary and highlight as you go–– seamlessly, without having to re-click the highlight button again every time.

I usually save all the links, videos and stuff in Raindrop. Now I want to import everything there into Recall. But I can't find a button to import directly or import from Raindrop exort file

Allow multiple PDFs to be added, even after the initial, for cross referencing

Sharing is a good way on mobile already h nonetheless I could imagine that being able to import your knowledge base from another service could give you a "headstart" and brings up the unique advantages Recall offers very fast. In my case I do have a hell lot of stores articles (~ 20,000 stored in raindrop - only occasionally working on them cause summarizing / taking notes and doing a bit of reorganizing then ears up a lot of time and is cumbersome, plus some links in fabric and a link list in my notes app). Doesn't have to be a full blown import assistant for all common apps - I think supporting csv nodding a list of links in txt and html will work great already
